- More Life, Less Stuff

You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?
I have old copies of Empire and Kerrang! magazine, books that I’ve read that I would never dream of reading again, I have beer, cocktail and wine glasses even though I’ve not had a drink in nearly 3 years. All of this stuff has piled up. It’s not that I’m struggling to open doors because of the stuff piled up in each room, I just have cupboards and draws that have things that I never touch from one year to the next.
Discardia is a holiday, a time to let go of physical objects, habits or emotional baggage that isn’t making us happy. Sort of the opposite of Christmas. Bin, recycle, donate or sell things that you don’t need, don’t use and don’t really love.
I never really considered myself as a packrat but reading Discardia has opened my eyes to the amount of stuff I have kept over the years and never use. At £1.99 for the Kindle it’s a bargain and I will need to read it again.
