The most interesting chapter was on focusing the mind through meditation. Just concentrating on one thing, either the breath or a mantra of some kind, can improve concentration and memory.
One thing that has stayed with me since finishing the book is the essence of the Buddha’s teaching:
- If possible, you should help others.
- If that is not possible, at least you should do no harm.
