The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

Well at least I know what all the fuss is about.

I actually bought this book last September when I bought my Kindle, so you have some idea of the backlog of books that I have to read. I’d heard people rave about it but now that I’ve finished it I can’t really say that it was all that thrilling. I managed to read it quite quickly and I did complete it without giving up half way though.

One thing that dates it is mentioning PowerBooks as the laptop computers that are used. And the fact that there was no mention of iPhones or any other smart phone for that matter.

I will watch the film just to see why David Fincher feels compelled to create an English language version.

This is a great example of the how the price of books should be. For the Kindle version, currently £2.74, as opposed to the £3.89 for the paperback on I’ve seen the thickness of next book in the trilogy and you’d be saving nearly an inch of shelf space too.
