Goddamn E.ON

Yes, yet another letter from British Gas saying that they’re sad to see me go and is there anything that they can do to make me change my mind?

They could make it harder to switch providers. I mean it seems possible to highjack my supply just by supplying the first line of an address. If that’s the case, and it seems so, then all E.ON have to do is scan down a phone book. What’s to stop them?

I phoned British Gas and they need my name, address and my 12 digit customer reference number before they will talk to me. Why don’t you have to supply this kind of information to E.ON before they switch your supply. The last time this happened E.ON sent my a letter that was simply addressed to The Occupier. They don’t even know who I am.
